Another man in an armchair style cartoon gag!

Marriage and relationships have always been a good source for humour. Can't see that ending any time soon.

Lollipop Man & Woman Enjoy Karaoke...

Karaoke for the Lollipop Man & Woman. Here is a cartoon I drew as a part of a series that I produced on the Lollipop Man theme. (I've more recently created a post on this blog showing all the cartoons...)

Lollipop man and lollipop lady sing karaoke

The song that the Lollipop Lady is singing may be a little obscure to many today. It was called "My Boy Lollipop" and was sung by Millie. It was a big hit back in the 1960s. (It'll be on YouTube somewhere I'm sure.)

My Lollipop Man Collection

I've added my Lollipop Man Cartoons to all kinds of print-on-demand products, and you can view all these items in a collection that I have created on Zazzle HERE...

Drink to Forget...

This cartoon takes a humorous look at the familiar idea of “drinking to forget”.

Cartoon of a barman reminding a customer, who is "drinking to forget" to at least remember to pay his bar bill

It shows a barman addressing a customer with a wry expression, saying, “Next time you drink to forget, could you at least remember to pay your bar bill!”

The joke plays on the well-known phrase, twisting it cleverly to highlight the realities of running a bar – that however forgetful a customer might want to be, the bill still needs paying.

It’s a gentle and witty reminder of how human nature and humour often meet in everyday life.

Like many of my cartoons, it’s set in a familiar social scene and uses wordplay and timing to create an instantly recognisable situation. A simple one-liner, but one that always raises a smile.

Before you go, have a look at a few more of my favourites – “Football Managers Cartoon” always gets a smile, and “Make Sure Your Dating Request is Legible!” captures the fun side of modern romance.
