Fun Cartoons I've Drawn on the Theme of Love and Marriage

Humour in Love and Marriage

Marriage has always been a rich source of comedy, and over the years I have enjoyed capturing those lighter moments in a series of black and white humorous cartoons.

From the nervous tension of a church wedding, to the quirks of everyday married life, to the occasional piece of advice from a well-meaning counsellor, these drawings are all about finding laughter in situations we can recognise from our own lives.

If you enjoy funny wedding cartoons or light-hearted takes on love and relationships, you will feel right at home here.

Church Weddings with a Twist

The solemnity of a wedding service often contrasts wonderfully with the unexpected thoughts, expressions, and comments that might be going through the minds of the bride, groom, or even the vicar.

My cartoons about church weddings play gently with those contrasts, taking familiar traditions and adding a witty sideways glance. Many of these marriage humour drawings highlight the small mishaps and human touches that make ceremonies both memorable and amusing.

Love and Married Life

Once the confetti has settled, married life begins – and so do the jokes. My humorous husband and wife cartoons focus on the little ups and downs of everyday living.

Whether it’s a gentle dig at domestic chores, a witty remark about money matters, or the eternal puzzle of communication between men and women, there is always humour to be found in the ordinary. These drawings are never intended to be cruel – they simply highlight the funny side of relationships that most couples will recognise with a smile.

Proposals and Guidance

Of course, it all begins with a proposal, and that too is ripe for cartoon treatment. Awkward moments, grand romantic gestures, and unexpected interruptions all make appearances in my sketches.

Marriage guidance, meanwhile, offers another fertile ground for humour, where well-intentioned advice is not always received in the way it was meant. These themes allow me to create cartoons about love and marriage that are both funny and instantly relatable.

A Collection to Explore

Together, these cartoons form a collection that celebrates love and marriage with a smile. They are now available on greetings cards and various kinds of gift items on Zazzle, as you can see from the examples that I have used to illustrate this article.

If you are searching for funny wedding cartoons, humorous husband and wife sketches, or light-hearted illustrations about relationships, I hope you will enjoy exploring these drawings as much as I enjoyed creating them. Enjoy the fun cartoons that I've drawn on the theme of love, relationships, and marriage.

If you’ve enjoyed this look at my cartoons on love and marriage, you might also like exploring some of the other posts here on the blog. For instance, there’s an article about the lively UK folk festival scene, which celebrates the traditions and atmosphere of these gatherings.

Readers who enjoy humour might find my reflections on The Flintstones cartoon series to be entertaining.

You may also find my article giving tips and advice on planning a child's party to be useful.

And if you’d like a quirky trip through time, my light-hearted events of 1976 post brings together news, culture, and nostalgia in one lively read.

Each of these articles has its own flavour, but they all share the same aim – to entertain, inform, and bring a smile. I hope you’ll enjoy browsing around and perhaps discover a new favourite along the way.

I regularly feature products from Zazzle because it remains one of the most versatile print-on-demand platforms around. From personalised gifts to niche designs, it offers almost limitless possibilities for creators. Sharing my experience with Zazzle allows me to guide others towards discovering just how useful the platform can be.

Country Pub Waiter and Menu Confusion Gag...

Here's a country pub food menu gag I drew where I wanted to play around with farming-related menu items. It seems perfect to have the setting as a country pub, which would be set in a farming area of course.

Adding the Cartoon to a Product on Zazzle

Here it is on the side of a mug. (The image, showing a pub waiter taking a food order from pub customers, repeats on both sides.)

There's an added advantage with this item as I have set it up so that you can personalise the name on the side of the mug. This means you can turn it into an extra special and personal gift for someone!

Gender Reassignment Clinic...

At a gender reassignment clinic the counsellor is offering to pour the tea.

To the amusement of the others attending she uses the expression, "Shall I be Mother?".

Obviously there is no intent to belittle what is an important subject for many - my gag is simply to capitalise on a long-established phrase that suits the situation so well.

Here are four cartoon illustrations of mine that I'm using on Christmas Cards with Zazzle.

The beauty is that they are all personalisable – and you’ll have to take a look inside to read the punchlines!
