Pianist Cartoon. Handel's Water Music.

This cartoon of mine is a pun on the famous musical work Water Music by George Frideric Handel.

The cartoon shows a man playing a grand piano with sheet music titled “Handel’s Water Music”.

Water is dripping from the piano and forming a puddle on the floor - a light-hearted visual twist on the name of the composition.

Handel’s Water Music was originally composed for an outdoor royal celebration on the River Thames in London for King George I in 1717.

It was performed by an orchestra of around 50 musicians on a barge positioned near the king’s boat.

The music was so well received that it was played three times during the event.
