I drew this cartoon a few years ago and decided that I would like to use it on some items that people could buy.
The illustration shows a man dressed in underwater scuba-diving gear, preparing to feed the fish in a small fishbowl.
His wife, looking exasperated, asks him, "MUST WE GO THROUGH THIS ROUTINE EVERY TIME YOU FEED THE FISH, JIM?".
Why the Cartoon is Funny...
The humour lies in the exaggerated effort Jim takes to feed the fish, treating a simple task as if it requires deep-sea diving equipment.
The cartoon highlights the absurdity of over-preparation for a mundane chore and the potential for a spouse's quirky habits to become tiresome.
