September 2005 Blog Posts Round-Up...

September was a busy month on the blog, with a wide mix of new articles, cartoons and ideas to enjoy. Looking back, there’s been a bit of everything – from practical guides for professionals, to light-hearted humour, and even a few nostalgic touches. Here’s a round-up of what was published during the month.

We began with some useful posts for trades and small businesses, including Zazzle – A Valuable Resource for the Plumber or Handyman, A Beginner’s Guide to the Popular USA Game of Cornhole, and Is there a Recommended Minimum Number of Words for a Blogger Post?. As schools returned, there was a practical note for parents in Back to School – Get Kids Prepared with Personalised Lunchboxes.

Hospitality also featured strongly, with guides such as Personalised Hotel Door Hangers are a Professional Touch and the Step-by-Step Guide to Ordering Hotel Key Fobs on Zazzle. Meanwhile, creative entrepreneurs could find encouragement in Everything You Need to Begin Selling Your Greetings Card Designs.

There was also space for lighter reading. Cartoons made an appearance with Cashpoint Machine Cartoon from my Archives, as well as a reminder in My Cartoons are Available as Wall Art from Fine Art America. For music lovers, The Trombone: Brass Band Tradition, Jazz Improvisation and Everyday Fun struck a bright note, while Snoopy and Woodstock – A Timeless Cartoon Strip Friendship offered a nostalgic pause.

Golf had its fair share of attention too, from a full explainer in How Does a Golf Handicap Work? to stylish extras in Enhance Your Golf Tournament Experience with Personalised Golf Accessories. And for gardeners, Wearing Your Passion – Gardening T-Shirts That Make You Smile brought a playful close to the month.

Other highlights included Why Labradors and Golden Retrievers Make the Best Family Dogs, A Simple Guide to Running a Profitable Pet Supplies Business, and Looking Back at 2009 on the Blog. Add in thoughtful gift ideas like Timeless Birthday Gifts – Personalised Watches and Transforming a Wedding Venue with Personalised Décor, and it really was a varied month.

All in all, September 2025 was packed with content across many subjects – from practical business tips and creative projects to humour and light reading. October is already shaping up to be just as varied, so stay tuned for more posts soon.
